Echelon Festival is set to ignite Bavaria once again on August 15–16, 2025! Returning to the breathtaking former U.S. military base in Bad Aibling, this electronic music spectacle blends industrial charm with alpine beauty, making it one of the most unique festival settings in Europe. Echelon Festival 2025 promises two days of pure electronic energy, featuring 6+ stages of music across multiple genres, 100+ artists, exclusive b2b and concept sets, groundbreaking light shows – and a crowd that lives for the beat!

What once served as a listening post during the Cold War has transformed into a cultural landmark for electronic music lovers. Surrounded by mountains and dripping with history, the massive area offers plenty of space for multiple stages, immersive lighting, and surreal visuals that push the boundaries of open-air raves.
What’s new at Echelon Festival 2025?
The festival grounds are getting a new central point – Central Nexus! Think radomes with interactive visual installations, hidden surprises, as well as a food zone and chill-out spaces to recharge, connect, and dive deep into the Echelon vibe.
Furthermore, there will be three new stages this year!
AQUASPHERE Stage
Echelon Festival goes lakeside! On Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM, Full Weekend ticket holders can enjoy exclusive access to the Schmelmer Hof swimming lake – free shuttle service included. Chill on the shore, listen to the DJs, soak up the sun, cool off in the water, and head back to the festival grounds once you’re recharged and ready to go again!
SYMBIOTIKKA Stage (hosted by SYMBIOTIKKA / KitKat Club Berlin)
Dark, hypnotic, and shameless – blending ecstatic beats with Berlin’s kinky, no-limits underground vibe. This brand-new stage is for those looking to dive straight into the abyss of techno, where reality blurs and only electrifying desire remains!
FREQUENCY Stage
DnB mayhem? Tech-house grooves? Well… both! Friday features high-energy drum’n’bass with fast beats and heavy bass. And on Saturday, Eklisso flips the stage into a driving tech-house zone until deep into the night.

Getting there
By train
You can reach Bad Aibling train station in around 1 hour from Munich main station. From there, take one of the shuttle buses running regularly to/from the festival. Make sure to exchange your ticket for a shuttle wristband on-site before boarding the bus!
By car
Follow the GPS and signs. Parking spaces are available on-site (to be paid for on cash only!).
