Electrisize goes out with a huge bang: More than 55,000 ravers visited this year’s edition, which offered many innovations, whole new stage designs, and, as always, a very dynamic musical offer. The co-founder Raphael Meyersieck summed it up as follows: “For me, this was the most beautiful, best, and at the same time still the most family-oriented Electrisize we’ve ever had”.

Electrisize knows what their fans love: familiar atmosphere, diverse line-up, short paths, and relatable branding.
The festival is driven by its local spirit. As a visitor from the region, you know every second or third face there. And even if you come from further away, the Esize people become your rave family sooner than you think. Everyone is open and celebrating their love for music with tens of thousands of others.
The line-up offers something for everyone and is always diverse with some new experiments. This year they brought “Ballermann” music to the mainstage and celebrated ten years of Hardsize with Crest b2b Dropixx b2b Resensed.
Everything at the festival grounds is nearby, as all facilities are placed well. The “longest” walk is to the campsite, which takes about five minutes. And the best: all paths are covered either with wooden planks or plastic honeycombs and, only in the uneven spots, with bark mulch.

Every year Electrisize rethinks their partner collaborations. This year they teamed up with many interesting brands once again.
The sweets brand Hitschies handed out sweets such as gums and lollies during the whole Friday. Next year we would definitely wish for ice from them.
The healthcare company AOK placed their brand at the chillout area, where you could participate in a giveaway and train your health by trying to beat the time at the hanging bar. Our team lead lasted a good time of 1:31 min.
Already for the second time, Pülleken had their own beergarden at the festival grounds and offered Pülleken 0,0 at all bars as a premiere. This was a very positive addition for all people who skip or reduce alcohol consumption.
As always, Asbach offered their own stage, which grows every year, and of course delicious mixed drinks, as well as many raffles, where you could win merch or drinks.
They also swapped out the former cigarette partnership with a more modern brand for e-cigarettes.

The campsite Electricity was fun as always. This is where you truly feel the family vibe. The size is not of a superlative, but there is so much positive energy in this amount of campers.
Electrisize offered well-established facilities such as the 24-hour-opened supermarket, the E-Size Run, the BBQ season start with Hela, pre- and after-parties, and the beer yoga.
But there were also some new things this year: a beer-pong tournament, where you could win goodies, and a special wake-up set at 8:00 am on Saturday morning with the creator of the beloved track Festival Wecker, Dirty Thirty.
It was very welcoming that the showers are always free and that you could get warm food like fries, toasties, sausages, and burgers during any day- or nighttime at the supermarket.

On Friday we finally got the mainstage closing that was promised one year ago: Paul Elstak. And it went out pretty well. It was very beautiful to see how the mainstage was shining in all the colors of the rainbow when Paul played the legacy track Rainbow in the Sky from 1995!
On the main day, Saturday, Dirty Thirty started early with his funny festival edits. In the evening the legend Brennan Heart took over the Hardsize and delivered a high-quality-produced show with tunes from past and present. At 00:15 was a peak moment, as on three of seven stages were Hard Dance acts playing simultaneously. On the mainstage Jebroer finished his more mainstream-oriented set, while Dimitri K & MC Robs started the closing of the beloved Hardsize stage. Also, the Turbo Beach Club got its Hard treatment as the newcomer and influencer Lil Berlin played his slot, which he won during a competition just days before.
The Sunday started with fan favorites Zelecter and Gregor le Dahl while the closing sets were the hardest of the weekend, with Sickmode followed by Noiseflow.

Unfortunately the first impression of the festival put visitors’ patience to the test as the entrance process took longer than common. Some people waited for one hour in the queue before they were able to enter. Later, an employee clarified that this was due to many last-minute cancellations of entry staff. This problem was solved for the other days.
When it came to ticket prices, this year’s multi-layered pricing structure and various promotional tiers created a bit of confusion, leading to debates among the community about fairness and unity. The addition of separate charges for the shuttle service and flushed toilets also stood out as unexpected extras for seasoned festival-goers. As the organizers are always experimenting with different price models, we are sure that they are already planning to optimize this for next year.

As told before, the team always thinks of what they can improve. This year they worked on the toilet situation. There was nearly no waiting time, as there were so many toilets available and they were placed very well.
The visibility of the first aid center was optimized, which led to more patients but also more awareness of health and dangerous situations, especially in combination with heat and drugs, said one of the first aid employees.
They also had intervention teams that were always there when something needed to be fixed immediately. For example, when a wooden plank of the floor covering broke. After just ten minutes three guys with tools and replacement showed up in the middle of the dancefloor and repaired it on the fly as thousands of ravers were dancing around them.

Electrisize delivered a solid edition with many advantages we know and love. Some things, like higher prices for tickets and extras, may cloud the hype for next year, but we are curious to see what they have in store to optimize the event even more and keep the family spirit.
