Primeshock is back with a brand-new chapter. With the release of their album LIFEH4CK, the duo delivers a powerful mix of energetic melodies, raw kicks, and their signature Euphoric Hardstyle sound.
In this interview, Primeshock are talking about the creative process behind LIFEH4CK, the inspiration for the album, and what fans can expect from this new era. From studio sessions to festival stages, they give us an inside look at the story behind the music.

Since the name of the album and four of the tracks are in reference to computers and tech as a whole, can you let us know why you chose this approach for your entire album aesthetic?
Our earlier tracks like Power Up and Blue Screen of Death already showed a bit of our digital, nerdy side, and with LIFEH4CK it just made sense to fully embrace that world because it’s such a big part of who we are.
The album is built around four chapters, each inspired by a keyboard command that represents a step in our LIFEH4CK: CTRL stands for Lose Control and letting go, ALT is Alter Your Mind and seeing things from a positive perspective, DEL means Take The Lead by deleting your worries and taking control of your life, and ESC represents Escape from negativity.
Together they form the “cheat code” for a happier mindset, powered by Hardstyle.
Because an album is a huge collection of tracks, sometimes the idea of the artist is to tell a story through different chapters in each track while others make a compilation of bangers. Which one is LIFEH4CK more like?
We’d say it’s a bit of both. LIFEH4CK has a clear story running through its four chapters, each inspired by a keyboard command that represents a mindset: Lose Control, Alter Your Mind, Take The Lead, and Escape. At the same time, every track was made to hit just as hard on its own.
We didn’t want an album that only makes sense when you play it from start to finish. It’s built to tell a story if you want to dive deep, but also to work as a playlist of pure, high-energy bangers you can drop anywhere!
The art and design of the album is striking and the orange vinyl is a great touch! How involved were you in the design – was it influenced by anything?
We were involved in every part of the design process because we wanted the visuals to match the energy and concept of LIFEH4CK perfectly.
The whole idea was to blend that digital, tech-inspired world with something colorful and fun that really screams “Primeshock.” The transparent orange vinyl instantly gave us that energetic, power-up vibe we were looking for.
We even designed the inside collage ourselves, using snapshots from our vlog series and behind-the-scenes moments. It makes the album feel extra personal, almost like a visual summary of the entire LIFEH4CK journey. We’re pretty damn proud of this one!
There are many collabs in this new album! What is the secret of keeping the identity of the album with so many cooks in the kitchen?
We always make sure to work with artists who get what Primeshock is about. The collabs on LIFEH4CK came together super naturally. Some ideas started at festivals, others from random demos, and a lot was also written during a writing camp at the Armada Studios back in January.
Everyone added a special flavor to the mix, but somehow it still tastes exactly like us, haha!
What is your favorite lifehack outside of music?
Haha, good one! For us, the ultimate lifehack is being a duo. Sharing this entire journey with your best friend makes it all sooo much better.
From the long studio nights to touring around the globe, it’s twice the fun when you experience it together!
What is in it for Primeshock in 2026? What can we expect besides more bangers?
We’re already working on new music and some really cool ideas for next year. LIFEH4CK was just the beginning. In 2026, we want to expand on the story we started, do more international shows, and bring even more energy to the stage.
We’ve also got a few new collabs and surprises in the works… let’s just say we’re not slowing down anytime soon!
How would you describe LIFEH4CK in just a few words?
Good Vibes Only!
What’s the main message or feeling you want to share through this album?
It’s all about positivity and good energy. LIFEH4CK is our cheat code to good vibes, and if it makes you smile, dance, or just escape for a while, then we know we did it right!
Which track means the most to you personally and why?
That’s a hard one! We’d probably say Good Vibes Only because it captures exactly what LIFEH4CK stands for. It’s fun, high-energy, and instantly lifts your mood.
But LIFEH4CK itself also means a lot to us because it ties the entire story together!
We’ve seen your LIFEH4CK vlog series super fun to watch! How was it showing fans the process behind the album?
We loved it! It was such a cool way to share our journey instead of just dropping an album out of nowhere. The vlog series gave people a look into how much fun we have making music and how this project grew step by step.
Each episode focused on a different track and showed a bit of our daily chaos, haha. It brought us closer to our fans and made the whole album experience way more personal!
If you could describe the album in one festival moment, what would it look like?
Nothing captures LIFEH4CK better than our RED stage set at Defqon.1 this year! Thousands of people dancing, singing, and soaking up the energy, while we premiered five new album tracks.
Everything clicked and it was hands down the highlight of the year for us.
