The Dutch duos, Showtek and Bassjackers, are back with a uniting dance track! “Friends” is a heartfelt Mainstage anthem driven by a melodic piano, fast-paced beat and an energetic and vibrant drop. Showtek’s best-known dance hits includes the iconic “Booyah” sharing the same uplifting energy. The Bassjackers added their typical feeling of unity that can be also felt on “Mush Mush”.
Showtek has conquered the international dance music industry with high-octane anthems that have seen releases on major labels like Spinnin’, Armada, Ultra, Parlophone, and Musical Freedom. Launching their career as hardstyle DJs with huge success, Showtek earned acclaim for releasing the world’s biggest no.1 hardstyle anthem to date, FTS.
Since then, brothers Wouter Janssen and Sjoerd Janssen have developed a heavyweight EDM sound, dropping immense collaborations with the likes of Tiësto, Major Lazer, Steve Aoki, Moby, Timmy Trumpet, Wyclef Jean, and more.
Notably, the DJs and producers have channelled passion and drive into hits like Bad with David Guetta, which gathered over 505M Spotify streams, BBC Radio 1 support, and DJ support from Hardwell, Borgore and more.
DJ, Marlon Flohr, and producer, Ralph van Hilst, who together form Bassjackers, are perfectly in sync as a duo. Their opposing personalities – Marlon being the wild one rocking each and every stage they play and Ralph the more cool and collective preferring to shine behind the scenes on the producer seat, are a perfect combination for this unique one-dj-one-producer collaboration.
The duo exploded onto the scene and in 2011 their dancefloor bomb “Mush Mush” was picked up by Tiësto and released on his label Musical Freedom. The track dominated the Beatport Top 10 chart for over two months and was one of the biggest festival tracks of the year. This was a sign of things to come.
Since then, Bassjackers have reached massive new heights in their career with numerous chart-topping bangers and hit collaborations with the likes of Martin Garrix, Afrojack, KSHMR, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, R3hab, and Showtek, to name a few, as well as remixes for A-list artists including Rihanna, Enrique Iglesias, Moby, and Ne-Yo. At the top of their game, Bassjackers continue to tear up stages worldwide and wow crowds along the way.
