Actually, this plan has been discussed on the socials now for years – but has never been confirmed officially. But several news pages spread the update, that officials have now granted its permission.

The Defqon.1 may continue for a longer period due to a broader environmental permit. Whilst Defqon.1 campers used to arrive on a Friday to enjoy a full party weekend with a nice pre-party at night – in 2022 this could now change. Visitors could arrive now on a Thursday to attend a full 3 days Defqon.1 weekend.
Q-dance yet hasn’t posted any official statement or plan. The official pages just quote that Defqon.1 2022 will take place on the last weekend in June. But – that is the interesting part – no fixed days.
Thus, let’s hope Q-dance takes this chance to give us a full 3 days experience. 3 Days Defqon.1?
