The festival already began at home for me, with anticipation building up hour by hour. I listened to songs like “Die Young” and “SpongeBob” by Lil Texas and Miss Pepper’s “LOSE CONTROL”. My excitement only intensified on the way to Astra Kulturhaus. I arrived at 10:30 p.m., eager to experience the full splendor of the event, having heard only positive feedback about E.F.N.
The opening act consisted of a versus set by District Red and Phiesi & Abzocka from 11:00 p.m. to 01:00 a.m. – wow, what can I say? Listening to tekk in its hometown, where it was born, is truly unique. Although it’s not my usual genre, the atmosphere, crowd, and sound system quickly won me over.
The lineup continued to impress: Actek & Raket One ignited the crowd with their captivating live vocals, and then Miss Pepper fired up the dance floor with her high-energy raw and uptempo tracks. With Deutscher Krach (German Noise) and hits like “Zaaglong”, she perfectly primed the crowd for the headliner of the night, Lil Texas, sending the energy in the room soaring to new heights.
The moment of truth arrived when Lil Texas took the stage, his black Western hat on, his undeniable presence exciting the crowd. The hour of his set flew by in a blur of dancing and celebration. The beats thundered, the kicks pounded, and the crowd went absolutely wild. When he played his classics like “SpongeBob”, the atmosphere reached its peak. Lil Texas’ performance (his Berlin debut by the way!) was flawless, captivating us all and leaving a lasting impression.
Next up was Fabitekk, who brought us back down from the high-energy bass and kicks of Lil Texas’ set. The night continued to pulse with the energy of the tekk sound thundering through the hall. The beats were precise, the bass was deep, and the crowd was euphoric. Fabitekk’s set was a perfect contrast to Lil Texas’ high-octane performance while still maintaining a vibrant mood.
My personal verdict on E.F.N? After attending myself, I can only confirm what I’ve heard from others – E.F.N delivers top-notch events. The sound was excellent, the organization was perfect, and the atmosphere was simply fantastic. From the first minute, you felt welcome and invited.
Since 2012, E.F.N has been writing an impressive success story, attracting more and more visitors with each event. Considering the top acts they’ve brought to Berlin, such as Dr. Donk, N-Vital, and MBK, it’s no wonder the demand keeps growing. Their unique blend of “the usual styles” (hardcore and uptempo) with international genres – some of them quite uncommon in Germany – makes E.F.N events very special experiences for the visitors!
