If there is one thing that is certain, it is the world of electronic music that has become an indispensable part of the event sector. A vast variety of genres but also a world of producers with special characteristics are the basis for a world of unique and interesting stories. Stories that need to be told.

An idea Anthony Donner maybe had, when he started to develop the idea about the DJ Magazine.

DUTCH DJs IN THIS SCENE

Dutch DJs have dominated the international stage of the entertainment industry for quite some time now. What is their drive, and how was their way to the world top? In the Dutch DJs Magazine, the world of DJs and dance is shown on the basis of unique and playful photos of the DJs made in their work or living environment with short interviews of about thirty Dutch top DJs. This is interspersed with photos of dance festivals. This is the first DJ storage magazine that can be personalized!

A DOCUMENTARY ON PAPER

The Dutch DJs Magazine has become a documentary on paper. With a combination of passion and often typical Dutch sobriety, about thirty top DJs tell how it started for them with a lot of meters. From Tiësto to Angerfist. From Ferry Corsten to Secret Cinema. And from Irwan to Noisecontrollers. DJs from different genres are featured in the magazine, from house to hardstyle and from techno to urban/eclectic. The magazine takes you into the dance world and gets to know the person behind the DJ.

ANTHONY DONNER

Anthony Donner is a former editor-in-chief of DJ Mag and is also active as a photographer, interviewer and filmmaker. Anthony previously portrayed three hundred most influential Dutch DJ/Producers and dance industry professionals for his book Dutch DJs. He did that all over again for this storage magazine. He has interviewed and photographed the DJs for this magazine. Anthony has asked photographer Rudger Geerling to contribute for the festival photos.
