What started as a wild idea among a few friends from the Rhineland – just wanting to throw an open-air party – has meanwhile grown into one of Germany’s most-loved electronic music festivals. This year, up to 50,000 visitors are expected to storm the grounds of the historic Haus Hohenbusch monastery when Electrisize Festival takes over the site near Dusseldorf from August 8th to 10th. And to anticipate the question: you won’t recognize the place as a monastery anymore once the festival setup is complete!

All styles, all energy
One of the things that sets Electrisize apart is its diverse lineup. More than 150 artists are set to turn this place into a multi-genre playground for three full days – and especially fans of the harder styles will get their money’s worth here.
Friday directly kicks off strong with the heaviest opening act the Hardsize stage has ever seen: Unicorn on K! Furthermore, you can look forward to international headliners like Blasterjaxx, Coone, Lil Texas, Noiseflow, Ran-D, as well as the hardcore legend himself, Paul Elstak.
Saturday keeps the pressure high. Brennan Heart is set to deliver the euphoric melodies. You rather like it “a bit” harder? In this case, you definitely shouldn’t miss GPF’s set! Jebroer and Miss K8 will also be on the decks and bring power, punch, and lots of BPM.
On Sunday, you’ll be able to catch Da Tweekaz, Dr Donk, and none other than Dr. Peacock, who has already delivered some unforgettable moments this year. And don’t miss Rooler, back again with his signature funky raw sound.
Looking for a twist? Head over to The Thunder – Electrisize Festival’s very own rock pub, where you’ll find karaoke, live bands, and a refreshing switch-up in vibe.
All seven stages are getting brand-new designs this year. For those who know how an incredible stage design can add to the atmosphere when combined with awesome kicks – it’s yet another reason to make the trip.
Beyond the music
When your legs need a break, Electrisize has plenty more to offer: chill-out zones, a solid beer garden, a Ferris wheel with a killer view over the festival grounds, a food court packed with something for every taste, and much more!
Also on-site: Calvin’s Airbrush-Butze, offering airbrush tattoos, run by reality star Calvin Kleinen (known from the RTL show Ex on the Beach).
Camping vibes
Want the full Electrisize experience? Camp on-site!
Car and RV ticket holders have the opportunity to check in early, starting Thursday, August 7th, at 12:00 p.m. All other campers are welcome to enter the campsite from 2:00 p.m. and stay until Monday. With a Car Pass, you can camp right next to your ride. You’ll have access to free showers and restrooms, and enjoy the short paths to the festival grounds.
And even when the speakers on the festival stages are silent, there’s so much to experience on the campsite. You’ll definitely not be bored there! Expect pre- and after-parties, exciting workshops, and other activities that bring the campgrounds to life. New this year: a free hakke & shuffle workshop on the Camping Stage, Saturday, August 9th, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Whether you’re learning or just looking to sharpen your skills – this is your chance!
Stay safe
Electrisize is leading the way in safety, too! It’s the first German festival to offer the Guardy app. Tap the alert button, and on-site security will immediately be notified that you need help, including your exact location. Fast aid, simple and effective.
Getting there made easy
The Electrisize festival site is well connected by public transport. During opening hours, a free shuttle bus runs continuously between Erkelenz train station and the festival grounds. You can also arrive by car and park nearby – or get dropped off at the Kiss & Ride.
