Its the Hardstyle festival of the year “Defqon-1”. Since 2013 Q-Dance unites Hardstyle fanatics from all over the globe. What started with several thousand visitors – has now reached a size of more than 60.000 visitors in 2019. Each year the expectations are rising – and this for good reason. Beside more and more stages, Q-Dance also introduced a huge program around this festival. For 2020 a special online broadcast “The Release” took place. The date and time was chosen wisely – 20.02.2020 at 20:20.
Of course Hardstyle Mag attended the stream and we are now wrapping up, what was presented. E-Life, Audiofreq and Stephanie Magic moderated a fantastic show. So lets see what we got
Anthem Creator “D-Block & S-Te-Fan
Its always one of the most thrilling questions – who will have the honor to create the anthem of this years Anthem. And for Defqon-1 2020 it is D-Block & S-Te-Fan. We can say that we already assumed, it would be them. Its more than deserved

Q-Dance announced already in advance, that during the Defqon-1 Release, they will present a new show element. Beside the beloved “Power Hour” this is really an interesting addition.
This year there will be again the open air bed concert with SEFA. Here you lay down on your air mattress and listen to the sounds of SEFA.
For those who are starving early, they can join the breakfast for champions. Like last year, this takes place directly in front of the main stage and some Artists join the breakfast. Last year they served scrambled eggs and some nice sandwiches.
The sporty ones among us can join the warrior workout. To the best Hardstyle scenes here you fitness gets challenged. Fun in the morning
