From kindergarten homies to blasting the biggest festival main stages – Major Conspiracy’s story is one of pure friendship that turned into high-speed power. We sat down backstage with the Dutch duo to talk about their highlights, their journey, and what fuels their fire!

Dragan: Hello, here’s Dragan for Hardstyle Mag and I’m here now with Major Conspiracy from the Netherlands!
Jari & Sunny: (applauding)
Dragan: Guys, awesome, guys, it was really a cool set. So, what’s your best experience in Germany, especially in Germany?
Sunny: Uhm, I have to think about it. I think we did the main stage at SYNDICATE, I liked it very much. I think it was one of the biggest shows in Germany, right?
Jari: Yeah, yeah.
Dragan: SYNDICATE – that’s in Dortmund?
Jari & Sunny: (agreeing)
Dragan: So, when did you start to DJ together?
Jari: It was in 2013. That’s a long time ago, when we were little boys…
Dragan: …young guys, young guys!
Jari & Sunny: (laughing)
Dragan: So, how did it happen? You made it and thought, “Hey that’s cool, it works together – let’s start it”?
Jari: We were just friends back in the days, we know each other since kindergarten and we were friends and we talked about like, yeah, making music and that kind of stuff. Then we decided to do a DJ course and that kind of stuff and yeah, the journey began.
Sunny: Yes!
Jari: The rest is history!
Dragan: Yeah, really cool! And now, it’s a famous question I always ask. What’s your favorite meal?
Jari & Sunny: (thinking)
Dragan: Oooooh – and, did you cook it by yourself? Or did you order it, go in a restaurant, or whatever? But – what’s your favourite meal?
Sunny: At the moment, I think you would never expect it, but do you know broccoli?
Dragan: Broccoli?
Sunny: You know, it’s the…
Dragan: …yeah, the vegetable!
Sunny: Yeah and then, with a little bit of cheese sauce and I make it by myself.
Dragan: Okay! Broccoli, we know – that’s the famous, famous vegetable of GPF.
Sunny: Oooooh! (laughing) With a meat ball, yeah!
Dragan: Yeah. (turning to Jari) And yours?
Jari: Erm, yeah, I’m not that type of a difficult guy – no, no, I just eat everything! As long as my mum doesn’t cook because that’s not really good. (turning to the camera) Sorry, mom!
Sunny: But I love your mum!
Dragan: I think now is the best moment to stop the whole thing!
Jari & Sunny: (laughing)
