On September 6th, Pokke Herrie, “A Dutch Hardcore Festival”, returns for its 13th edition to the legendary Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen. For 2025, A.L.E.X. Events has reinvented the festival concept from the ground up: Deutscher Krach takes the spotlight, alongside the rising uptempo genre and a salute to oldschool hardcore. And as a special highlight, the Hardcore Germany DJ Contest is finally back.

Noiseflow pres. Deutscher Krach XXL at Turbinenhalle main stage – this might be the biggest all-Krach lineup the scene has witnessed so far. In September 2024, Noiseflow teamed up with Ixtrem to host their first-ever exclusive Deutscher Krach event at Proton Stuttgart – and it sold out within days. In May 2025, they followed up with a hugely successful Austria edition. And now, together with A.L.E.X. Events, they’re taking things to the next level.

The talented duo will present their debut album “We Are Krach” and also be part of the “Warmkrachen” and “Krach Crew Live” showcases. But staying true to their roots, they’ll bring their best colleagues and uprising DJs along for the ride:

  • KIOR, with his notorious microwave kicks
  • vANE, pushing rawtempo with ultra-low frequency bass
  • Schlot, the fish-masked guy with the unmistakable “Schlooot” producer tag

On top of that, expect special live acts with tailor-made tracks and visuals – one-off experiences every real Krach head needs to catch.

And it doesn’t stop there: established names like Toza, Unicorn on K, and Cyber Gunz are on the lineup, alongside the heaviest Dutch uptempo act New Wave Live, who’ll leave you questioning your own taste in music afterwards!

Love the newschool sound but still want to hakk all night? No problem – the Uptempo floor is in the hands of none other than Triple 6, the label run by DRS. Expect heavy sets from residents like DRS, MBK, Estasia, and Sakyra, plus fresh blood including Illuszion, Invaderz, Albino, and Opgekonkerd. If Dutch uptempo runs through your veins, this is your spot.

While Krach and uptempo take center stage at Pokke Herrie 2025, the hardcore legacy is not forgotten. This year, early and millennium hardcore is celebrated on the “A Nightmare In Germany” stage. DJs like Panic, Catscan, and Kahlkopf HC will deliver the finest oldschool sets, and Masters of Noise will play a set in tribute to their role as festival pioneers. OG Hardcore ravers can party all night – but be ready for a big wave of nostalgia, since the “A Nightmare In Germany” concept has its roots in 1998.

After six years of absence, the legendary Hardcore Germany DJ Contest is making its comeback. The stage is hosted by the biggest German-speaking hardcore online community, and past editions have already introduced names like Gridkiller and R3T3P long before they hit the big stages at major hardcore events. Now it’s the turn of new talents like Multirave, Darkweapon, and Inyabrain. I’m especially looking forward to HardWithCore, a producer blending Krach with uptempo, and Nackenklatscher, mixing classic hardcore with fresh uptempo energy!

At Turbinenhalle, the atmosphere is like nowhere else. The halls once used to build heavy machinery are now shaken by heavy bass. As you may know, the sound system is massive, and every floor has its own character. You’ll feel it the moment you step up through the entrance – the huge windows to your left already rattling from the pounding soundwaves.

Pokke Herrie is always worth the trip. Dive into oldschool hardcore within an industrial flair, or scream along with the massive mainstage crowd as Deutscher Krach blasts your ears. Hakk on the uptempo floor, or cheer on the next generation at the Hardcore Germany DJ Contest.

This is the kind of night hardcore fans live for – and whatever your favorite style is, make sure to grab your tickets now: https://www.pokke-herrie.com/tickets/
