Germany’s biggest indoor rave is back – bigger, louder, and harder than ever. On April 30th, MAYDAY takes over the Westfalenhallen in Dortmund under the theme “progress” for a night where tradition meets transformation. This year’s edition is all about evolution – musically, technically, and visually. Among four explosive stages, the FACTORY stands out as our temple of hardstyle, rawstyle, hardcore, and uptempo, featuring a lineup that will push the BPM as well as your limits.

Since its inception in the nineties, MAYDAY has been a symbol of constant evolution. This exact spirit continues in this year’s edition, themed “progress” – a commitment to forward motion in music, technology, and production quality. It’s more than just a slogan. It’s a statement. With a lineup of over 30 top-tier acts and emerging artists across four different stages, this night promises a comprehensive journey through the worlds of the harder styles, techno and hard techno.
The FACTORY stage
As you’re on Hardstyle Mag, it’s safe to say that the 150 to 200 BPM range is right within your comfort zone, and your heartbeat syncs with any distorted kicks – the FACTORY stage is where you belong!
From 9 p.m. until the early morning hours, this stage will transform into a battleground featuring the hardest names in the harder styles scene. The night will kick off with high-energy sets by Dropixx, Lexxy Chainz, and Mish – each bringing their unique flavor of energy to ignite the crowd.
After midnight, the gloves will come off as AniMe – the undisputed queen of hardcore music from Italy – will take the stage and bombard the crowd with brutal kicks, mixed with dramatic melodies. Following her, Sefa will unleash his signature Frenchcore sound, creatively fusing speed and melody with unmatched intensity.
But it won’t stop there. Miss K8 will take over, delivering the earth-shattering power that has earned her a spot on the DJ Mag Top 100 for seven years straight. The closing set of the FACTORY stage is reserved for Dr. Donk, who will drive the tempo into oblivion as dawn approaches.
The ARENA
The rest of MAYDAY is just as thrilling. Over in the ARENA, a rare back-to-back set by Chris Liebing and Luke Slater will lay the foundation for an unforgettable event. As the night progresses, the “Friends of Mayday” will pay powerful tribute to the event’s rich legacy – followed by the techno icons Lilly Palmer, Reinier Zonneveld, and Klaudia Gawlas who will wow the crowd with their energetic sets.
The EMPIRE stage
You’re rather in love with the dark, gritty sound of hard techno? Head over to the EMPIRE stage! 999999999 will blow you away with their cutting-edge DOMINION A/V show, while Alignment, Rebekah, Fatima Hajji, and rising stars Ally and A.N.I. will crank out hours of relentless, unfiltered hard techno.
The TECHNO LEGENDS floor
At the TECHNO LEGENDS floor, the spotlight is on the pioneers who helped shape the scene. Expect timeless sets honoring the past from the legends Dave Clarke, DJ Hell, Rob Acid (live), Drumcomplex, Tom Wax, and André Galluzzi.
