An atmosphere like no other
What sets Heaven & Hill Festival apart isn’t just the music – it’s the unique vibe. It’s set atop the Halde Norddeutschland in Neukirchen-Vluyn, a 102-meter-high repurposed mining site turned into a recreational area, one of the most stunning open-air venues in all of North Rhine-Westphalia. Situated near Moers on the edge of the Ruhr region, this festival offers sweeping vistas of the industrial skyline, the idyllic Lower Rhine, and futuristic stage designs, creating a surreal contrast that ravers have fallen in love with year after year.
Since 2012, Heaven & Hill Festival, one of the region’s most atmospheric electronic music events, has taken place on this unique mountaintop – and 2025 is shaping up to raise the bar once again. On May 31st, 2025, five stages – including a mind-bending 360° circus tent experience – will showcase some of the world’s most exciting artists across various genres such as hardstyle, techno, bass, house, and psytrance. With debut performances, new stage designs, optimized sound systems, and an expanded food court, this edition is all about evolution.
Five distinct stages – one unified vibe
From sun-drenched house beats to bone-crushing kicks, Heaven & Hill Festival caters to every electronic music soul. The 2025 edition will feature five musically and visually distinct stages, each carefully curated to showcase the best in techno, house, classics, bass, psytrance – and of course, raw and relentless harder styles. Expect heavyweight acts and rising talents to maintain high energy from the first drop to the final fireworks.
Red Stage (Atrium) – electro, future house, EDM
Nestled in a circular atrium with panoramic views over the Ruhr and Lower Rhine, the Red Stage is your go-to for uplifting vibes and festival bangers. Expect a high-energy blend of electro, future house, and EDM – right at the heart of the hill.

Your festival ticket also serves as a VRR Kombi-Ticket, granting free local public transport across the entire VRR region from May 31st until June 1st, 05:00 a.m. Arriving by train? No problem – shuttle buses will operate all day between Moers station and the festival site, taking you straight to the foot of the hill.

Driving up? You’ll find plenty of parking spaces right at the base of the Halde. Simply follow Dongstraße via Geldernsche Straße to the main car park.
