Sun, rain, mud, and lots of great music – Open Beatz 2025 gave me everything in one weekend. From Le Shuuk’s surprise set to losing myself at Zone 3 and Dr. Peacock’s breathtaking show, every moment was unforgettable. Even with soaked shoes and heavy rain, the vibe never died – I’ll be back next year for sure!

Friday
The first day of Open Beatz Festival 2025 kicked off with great weather – the sun shining bright and vibes already high. The German crowd was buzzing, especially because Tream was set to open the Caldera (main stage) as a replacement for Timmy Trumpet. Everyone was hyped to see how the day would start!
The sun played hide and seek with the clouds for a while, but soon enough, heavy rain hit. We grabbed a drink and enjoyed Dominique Lamee’s set while staying dry.
My personal Friday highlight wasn’t an artist – it was the wood chips spread across the ground to make walking dryer and safer.
Later, I got the chance to watch my favorite DJ’s set on stage – thank you, Mausio! Singing and dancing my heart out to his music made the day truly unforgettable.
Exploring the grounds, we checked out the new stage designs. Stonelands blew me away, and we spent a lot of time there. The Magical Forest also caught me – the colorful decorations made it a must-see.
Over at Zone 3, Zelecter, Aversion, and Sickmode were smashing it. Watching their sets from the stage gave me a completely different perspective, and I saw the crowd partying like there was no tomorrow.
The opening show on the main stage set the tone for the night and left a strong impression. They displayed every Open Beatz stage on the LED wall and played genre-specific tracks for each. Fireworks capped it off perfectly.

Saturday
Saturday was the rainiest day of the weekend. We arrived late, shoes already caked in mud. Cold and wet, it was harder to enjoy than Friday – but the music still delivered.
I had been looking forward to seeing The Purge for so long, and it was worth the wait. Even in heavy rain, the energy during his set time was incredible.
Krowdexx also got me – their performance was powerful, and the crowd was hyped.
The standout moment for me was the secret Le Shuuk set at the IQOS Stage. We didn’t even know it was him until we heard the bass and drops from nearby and rushed straight over. Dancing with friends and shaking off the footpain from all the walking – it was pure joy.
Later, back at Zone 3, it was GPF time! Normally that’s too much for me, but with the right crew, a set like that can really be fun. I even got the opportunity to kick his famous “air dick” into the crowd – an honor for sure!

Sunday
Sunday finally brought the sun. We could enjoy the last festival day in warm weather, though a fresh wind arrived later. No rain, though – yay!
We spent lots of time at Stonelands, enjoying AKKI, A.N.I., and in the evening, Restricted and ZEUZ. Zeuz’s set was a must – from hard techno to hardstyle, everything was there!
Zone 3 remained my favorite stage all weekend. My heart belongs to hardstyle, and I felt it there again.
Dr. Peacock left me speechless with the violin girls – wow, they really can sing. I was completely stunned at that moment. I had never seen a set like this before.
We managed to get a good spot in the crowd for the endshow. It was an amazing experience, and I promise you, I’ll be there again next year – and so should you!

Final thoughts
Open Beatz is the best festival for me. It feels familiar, comfortable, and massive without feeling crowded. You feel the love everywhere – at every stage, at every food stand, and especially in the crowd. No pushing, no drama, just love.
Big thanks to the crew who welcomed me – it meant a lot. See you in 2026!
