They didn’t expect things to move this fast — but they were ready for it. And 2026 will be about building something that lasts. The Saints talk about going from TikTok experiments to Defqon.1 moments, and why they’re pushing beyond the DJ set while staying grounded. Bigger stages ahead. No plans to slow down.

Hardstyle Mag: You recently released your own version of “Outro.” Do you have a special connection to the song, which is already 14 years old?

The Saints: For us, it’s the perfect way to close down a set — after all, it is an outro. We’ve listened to this track for many years, and we’ve always been huge fans of M83. In our opinion, there’s no artist who captures emotion the way he does. The feeling in “Outro” is unmatched. Reworking such an iconic piece felt both natural and deeply inspiring.

Hardstyle Mag: Do you already have plans for what you’ll be doing in 2026? New songs, special events, or will you use the winter to recharge?

The Saints: Definitely no recharge, haha. We’re working harder than ever to make 2026 our absolute best year. We’re experimenting with new sounds, designing new shows, and pushing ourselves creatively as far as we can. We want to blur the line between a DJ set and a full show experience. 2026 will be epic, and we’re aiming to surprise people in ways they won’t expect.

Hardstyle Mag: In 2025, were there any festival moments you remember especially fondly?

The Saints: So many dreams came true last year. The vibe at the Defqon.1 Gathering was totally unmatched — it felt like pure magic. Intents Festival really stole our hearts, and Into the Madness in Germany was absolute fire as well. For indoor shows, Fabrik Madrid had the best atmosphere — the energy was unmatched. Honestly, any moment when we’re together with the whole Holy Legion is when we’re at our absolute best.

Hardstyle Mag: Are there any dreams you still want to fulfill — certain festivals or specific slots?

The Saints: Absolutely. Our list is still very long. Closing Tomorrowland or playing at the Library Stage would be huge — we would love to bring the Holy Madness to that atmosphere. EDC Las Vegas, under the electric sky, is also a dream for us. There are so many incredible festivals around the world, but our main goal is to grow while staying true to the holy vibe and to spread the Holy Madness everywhere. We want people to feel the magic of the show and get inspired.

Hardstyle Mag: Back then, did you think you would become this successful with your music? Since 2021, you’ve really been rising stars in the scene.

The Saints: We always tried our absolute best, but we never expected things to move this fast. We’re incredibly grateful for everything that has happened. What started as a dream slowly turned into a vision — and now it feels like we’re living in the middle of it. The support from the community, the legion, and the scene motivates us every day to keep improving and keep surprising people.

Hardstyle Mag: You started using TikTok quite early — do you think that contributed to your success? And whose idea was it?

The Saints: TikTok has become a part of the art these days. It’s a stage where you can show the world who you are, what you’re creating, and what you stand for. It was a natural decision, we both believed that if we could find a way to blend our passion for creating content with creating music and shows. And looking back, it definitely played a big role in helping our music reach new audiences.

Hardstyle Mag: As a final question, how do you spend the holidays?

The Saints: Ahh, love this question! For us, it’s either going on an adventure or doing absolutely nothing at all. Jules loves skiing, spending time in the sauna, and doing meditation to reset the mind. Rick also loves skiing and using the downtime to be with friends, since that’s pretty rare nowadays.

Hardstyle Mag: Thanks! Looking forward to experiencing what you’re working on at the festivals in 2026!
