On July 19, Amsterdam’s legendary Johan Cruijff ArenA will transform into a battleground where hard techno reigns supreme! That being said, fans of the genre have noticed a growing trend lately: hard techno artists have been increasingly flirting with hardstyle and hardcore for a while now, and we are seeing more and more collaborations between the artists of those scenes!

Even the “Godfather of Hardcore” himself, Paul Elstak, is joining the roster of this year’s edition of Verknipt ArenA! Also part of the lineup are heavy hitters like Holy Priest – known in the hard dance genre for his collaborations with Dimitri K, Krowdexx, and Lil Texas – and Fantasm, who performed at Gearbox Hot Pursuit last year. You can also expect Basswell, OnlyNumbers, KARAH, and many more artists who frequently bring hardstyle and hardcore energy to their sets. This legendary event is set to solidify the connection between hard techno and the harder styles!
More than 1,000 lasers – one world record attempt
Do you love lasers? Well, then… Verknipt will attempt to break the current Guinness World Record for the most lasers ever deployed at a music event, with over 1,000 laser beams firing in synchronized chaos across the entire stadium.
