Every October, German powerhouse I-Motion (the crew behind NATURE ONE and MAYDAY) and Dutch legends Art of Dance (Dominator, Masters of Hardcore, Snakepit) join forces to drop Dortmund’s hardest multi-genre rave – Westfalenhallen become WestfalenHELL again! Four stages, one army, and hardcore running the show. But don’t worry – there’s also room for rawstyle, uptempo, and even some proper hardstyle!

Mainstage – hardcore at the core
SYNDICATE has always been a safe bet for top-tier hardcore, and 2025 is no exception. Three talented hardcore queens are leading the charge: AniMe, Miss K8 and Hysta. Add D-Fence, GridKiller and Never Surrender with their live acts, and call the mainstage stacked.
A personal highlight: Furyan presents Mysteries of Creation. Haven’t seen it before, no clue what to expect – which makes it all the more exciting.
Of course, the Time Machine is back, too – this year in the hands of none other than Paul Elstak. Get ready for all-time classics and happy hardcore nostalgia!
And yeah – let’s talk about the elephant in the room: Angerfist isn’t on the lineup this year. For a lot of people, he feels like a resident at SYNDICATE, but this year he’s not available, booked elsewhere far away from Dortmund. Fair enough – the lineup still slaps hard enough!
Closing down the Mainstage will be Germany’s own Noiseflow. After premiering their album showcase We Are Krach at Defqon.1 Black and co-hosting multiple events, this is another milestone for Jonas and Morten on their way up.
Uptempo – no brakes
The Uptempo stage is packed with high-energy, fast BPM acts – some with that bouncy edge, others going straight for pure force. Veterans like Partyraiser, Spitnoise and Lunakorpz keep the energy sky-high, while SYNDICATE debuts from Revealer, Samynator and Kili promise some fresh (zaag)kicks!
Hardstyle – euphoric and raw
One of the stages is labeled “Hardstyle”, but let’s be real – it’s mostly raw and xtra-raw. And hey, we’re not mad about it! Expect heavy sets from Act of Rage, Mish, Warface, Riot Shift, plus rising Spoontech talent Spitfire from Switzerland. Only Sound Rush keeps it pure hardstyle, but genres blur anyway – it’s all part of the harder styles family!
Early Hardcore – back after eight years
Big news for the oldschool heads: after eight years, SYNDICATE finally brings back the Early Hardcore stage. Fans have been shouting for more “real” hardcore (aka oldschool hardcore), and now it’s here again. Names like Bass-D, The Viper, Neophyte, Predator, Ruffneck, Vince and the German pioneer Marc Acardipane will take us straight back to the roots.The exact spot for this stage inside Westfalenhallen hasn’t been revealed yet – but wherever it lands, it’s going to be packed!

If you’ve never been: the Mainstage is shaped like an arena, and it feels like standing in the pit of hardcore itself. The sound system is brutal, the lights are merciless. Luckily, the grandstands are open for a breather – without missing a single kick!

Using public transport is the easiest move – every SYNDICATE ticket includes a free local transport ticket valid in the VRR area. Just make sure to redeem it online in advance:

If you’re going by car, don’t stress – there are plenty of parking spaces around Westfalenhallen.
